Bellevue Pacific Tower

Bellevue Pacific Tower was the first high-rise condominium in downtown Bellevue: 171 homes in a 24-story tower completed in 1994 at 177 107th Ave NE, on the block bounded by 106th Avenue NE, NE 2nd Street and 107th. It rises from the same podium as Bellevue Pacific Center, the six-story office-and-retail building addressed at 188 106th Ave NE, so the ground floor belongs to tenants like Haidilao rather than to the residents; the residential entrance and courtyard are on the 107th side. The address puts Old Main two blocks south, the AC Hotel across 106th Place, Downtown Park a short walk west and Bellevue Square a few blocks north-west. Thirty years on it is the elder statesman of the downtown condo stock, and its amenity package — a heated indoor pool, hot tub and sauna, a fitness center, a club room and a rooftop garden terrace — still reads as generous.

Legally the building is a condominium inside a condominium. The master Bellevue Pacific Center Condominium has three units — the residential tower, the commercial space and the garage — and Bellevue Pacific Tower Condominium, the residents’ association, is one of the three. The original developer, Bellevue Pacific Center Limited Partnership, kept the commercial and garage units, and the arrangement has been to the Washington Court of Appeals twice: in 2004 the court upheld the partnership’s one-vote-per-unit control of the master association against the tower association’s challenge, and in 2012 it affirmed a judgment for the partnership over nine courtyard parking spaces, noting that a 2003 settlement barred the association’s counterclaims. None of that changes daily life much, but a buyer should understand that the garage and the retail are owned separately from the homes.

Against the glass towers that followed it — Bellevue Towers up 106th at NE 4th, One88 on Bellevue Way at NE 2nd — Bellevue Pacific Tower trades newer finishes for a 1990s floor plate, an indoor pool and a lower-key corner of downtown next to Old Main. See how it compares in our guide to every downtown Bellevue condo building.

“The 1994 tower that proved downtown Bellevue would buy high-rise condos, more than a decade before the glass towers arrived.” — DBN Editors

The Homes

Homes & Amenities at Bellevue Pacific Tower

What the building offers, from the studio plans to the rooftop garden terrace — and how the podium fits in.

The Homes

Studios to Two-Bedrooms, 171 in All

Studio, one- and two-bedroom plans across 24 floors; recent two-bedroom resales have run roughly 1,100 to 1,700 square feet, and a remodeled three-bedroom made DBN’s pages in 2019.

The Amenities

Heated Indoor Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna

The pool is indoors and heated, with a hot tub, sauna and locker rooms alongside; a fitness center and a club room round out the package. Confirm current access rules with the association.

The Terrace

Rooftop Garden Terrace

A landscaped terrace on the roof for residents — the downtown skyline has grown up around it since 1994, so the view is now of the newer towers as much as the lake.

The Podium

Haidilao and the Pacific Center Retail

The six-story Bellevue Pacific Center shares the block: Haidilao hot pot opened in October 2020 at 188 106th Ave NE, and Yezi Coconut Dessert took the NE 2nd Street corner in October 2023. 24 Hour Fitness closed in November 2020.

The Address

Old Main Two Blocks South

Old Main and Downtown Park are both an easy walk, the AC Hotel is across 106th Place for visiting family, and Seastar is a block east on 108th.

Bellevue Pacific Tower
Location

Getting Around & Living Here

The tower sits on the quieter southern end of 106th, two blocks from Old Main; the notes below are for visitors and house-hunters.

Getting There & Parking

  • Drive: Residents park in the Bellevue Pacific Center garage under the block, owned as a separate unit of the master condominium and allocated to the tower under its declaration; stall assignments are spelled out in each listing. Visitor parking is limited, so ask the concierge or your agent before a showing and expect to use street parking or a nearby public garage.
  • Light rail: 2 Line to Bellevue Downtown Station, then about four blocks south and west along 110th Ave NE and NE 2nd Street, roughly a 10-minute walk — see our light rail guide
  • On foot: Old Main is two blocks south; Downtown Park a few minutes west along NE 2nd; Bellevue Square about three blocks north-west; Seastar and the 108th Ave NE restaurants a block east.

What It’s Like

This is the quieter southern end of the 106th corridor: office traffic to Bellevue Pacific Center by day, hot-pot crowds at Haidilao in the evening, and the AC Hotel across 106th Place. The floor plates are 1990s-sized, smaller than the glass towers that came later, and DBN’s 2017 report of the lowest-priced condo downtown was a home here — which tells you where the building sits in the market. It suits downsizers, first-time downtown buyers and anyone who wants Old Main and Downtown Park on foot without paying for a newer tower’s amenity floor.

What’s Nearby

The block feeds itself: Haidilao is in the podium at 188 106th Ave NE, AC Hotel Bellevue is across 106th Place for out-of-town guests, or Seastar is a block east on 108th.

Good to Know

There is no public website for the owners association, so listings and your agent are the source for dues, rental rules and pet policy. The building is legally one unit of the larger Bellevue Pacific Center Condominium, and the garage and retail are owned separately; ask for the master association’s documents along with the tower’s. Sources disagree on whether the tower was finished in 1994 or 1995 and whether it has 23 or 24 floors; DBN uses the 1994 and 24 stories it has long published. 24 Hour Fitness, which the old DBN page listed as a tenant, closed in November 2020.

Frequently Asked

Bellevue Pacific Tower FAQ

Where is Bellevue Pacific Tower?

At 177 107th Ave NE in downtown Bellevue, on the block bounded by 106th Avenue NE, NE 2nd Street and 107th Avenue NE. How many condos are in Bellevue Pacific Tower, and when was it built?

171 condominium homes in a 24-story tower completed in 1994 — the first high-rise condominium in downtown Bellevue. The developer was Bellevue Pacific Center Limited Partnership, which held the commercial and garage units of the master condominium when the courts ruled on the building’s governance in 2004 and 2012. Some references give 1995 and 23 floors; DBN uses the figures it has published for years.

What amenities does Bellevue Pacific Tower have?

A concierge desk, a heated indoor pool, a hot tub and sauna, a fitness center with locker rooms, a club room and a rooftop garden terrace. Haidilao and other retail are in the podium, but that is Bellevue Pacific Center’s commercial space, not a residents’ amenity. Confirm current amenity access with the owners association.

Is parking included at Bellevue Pacific Tower?

Residents park in the Bellevue Pacific Center garage under the block, which is owned as a separate unit of the master condominium; stalls are allocated to the tower under its declaration and the number that comes with a given home is spelled out in each listing. Visitor parking is limited — ask the concierge or your agent before a showing.

How do I find condos for sale at Bellevue Pacific Tower?

Resales come up regularly across the studio-to-two-bedroom range, and the building has long been where downtown high-rise living starts at the lowest price point. Jason Foss, a Bellevue broker who specializes in downtown condominium buildings and sponsors this page, tracks Bellevue Pacific Tower inventory; DBN’s own coverage of the building is in the timeline above.
