4th of July Celebration in Bellevue Downtown Park

4thposter_09The Bellevue Downtown Park will play host to the 2009 Symetra Bellevue Family 4thon Saturday, July 4th. In the event’s 18th year, put on by the Bellevue Downtown Association, it is anticipating 60,000 visitors for the music, entertainment, and fireworks display. This year will also feature a C-17 flyover during the day.

The event will begin at 2pm when the Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone opens and will have an event-filled schedule throughout the day (see entire schedule of events and times below). The night will conclude at 10:05pm with a spectacular fireworks display set to live music by the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase on site in the southwest parking lot near the playground.  If you are driving to the event this year, there will be free parking at Belleveue Square’s parking lot after 6pm.  If you are looking for quick access to leave when the event is finished, there is a pay-lot now available east of Downtown Park.

The Symetra Bellevue Family 4th is free to all and  would not be possible without sponsors, support, and volunteers from Symetra Financial, Overlake Hospital Medical Center, Q13 FOX, The Seattle Times, 106.1 KISS FM, 94.1 KMPS FM, Illium Associates, and The Bellevue Collection.
