‘Finally Friday’ Blends Fashion, Art, and Performance, at Bellevue Arts Museum

Art, fashion, and performance will come together at Bellevue Arts Museum this month for “Finally Friday.”

This high-energy event takes place at 5-9 pm Friday, March 25, and includes spinning by DJ Phosho, a cash cocktail and wine bar ($5 per drink), and collective origami sculpture making.

Live performances run every 30 minutes, beginning at 5 pm. Performers include: One World Taiko, Chinese Dance Academy, Ying Dung Lion Dance Team, and Martial arts by Northwest Wushu. At 8 pm, a fashion show will highlight local designers from the Art Institute of Seattle.

Art exhibits on display include: “Wanxin Zhang: A Ten Year Survey,” “The Mysterious Content of Softness,” “Master of Deception: The Furniture of John Cederquist,” and “April Surgent: Into the Surface.”

Tickets to “Finally Friday” cost $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, and $5 for museum members. The first 50 guests wearing anime-inspired outfits will receive free admission. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit Bellevue Arts Museum website.
