Earlier this month the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue broke ground on their new main clubhouse in downtown Bellevue. The new facility will have 27,000 sq. ft. that includes gym, tech lab, teaching kitchen, games room, tween/teen space, internet café, expanded full-day preschool and more.
The fundraising began in 2012 where The Foster Family Foundation donated $2 million dollars and Sally A. Nordstrom donated $2 million. The Clubhouse will be renamed Sally A. & Jim Nordstrom Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue.
The Clubhouse still needs to raise an additional $3 million to reach its fundraising goal by mid-2016.
