Bellevue Magic Season launches this Friday, November 29th and goes until January 20th. This is the 23rd season of downtown Bellevue transforming into a holiday destination with The Bellevue Collection’s Snowflake Lane, holiday performances at Meydenbauer Centre Theatre, Garden d’Lights at Bellevue Botanical Garden, and the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink, presented by Symetra.

Bellevue Magic Season producing partners include the City of Bellevue, Meydenbauer Center Theatre, Bellevue Botanical Garden Society, Bellevue Parks & Community Services, The Bellevue Collection and KidsQuest Children’s Museum.

November 29, 2019 – January 20, 2020

The ice rink is located at Bellevue Downtown Park and includes over 9,000 square feet of real ice. It is open for 53 consecutive days, including all holidays. Prices on weekdays are $12 for general admission and $10 for children 11 and under. Weekends and holiday admissions are $15 for general admission and $13 for children 11 and under. Discount skate passes are available. Professional instructors will be giving complimentary starting lessons with paid admission on December 3 – 5, 10 – 12 and 17 – 19, and January 7 -9, and 14 – 16 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Stroller Skate Thursdays is also available for parents and young children.

November 29 – December 24, 2019

The nightly parade features performers like toy drummers, jingle bell dancers, stilt walkers, 16 lighted floats and more. Happening every night at 7 p.m., the parade is between Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square from Northeast 4th Street to Northeast 8th Street.

November 30 – December 31, 2019

This event features over half a million sparkling lights formed into shapes of flowers, plants, birds, animals and waterfalls. Garden d’Lights is located at 12001 Main Street. The event happens nightly from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and lights go out at 9:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per admission and free for children 10 and under. Advance tickets are available. Parking is available for $5, cash only. Free parking is also available at Wilburton Hill Park.

December 2 – December 23, 2019

The Theatre hosts a series of holiday themed productions, including Evergreen City Ballet’s The Nutcracker, International Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker, and Magical Strings – A Celtic Yuletide. meydenbauer.com Meydenbauer Center Theatre is located at 11100 Northeast 6th Street. Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets.

November 29 & 30, 2019

Kidsquest is hosting a gingerbread workshop that includes icing, candy buffet and one gingerbread house per family. The event is located at Hyatt Regency Bellevue in Bellevue Place at 900 Bellevue Way Northeast in the Evergreen Ballroom. Pre-registration is required for the event.
