West77 Partners, a Bellevue-based real estate investment and development firm, and hospitality management, development and investment firm, The Hotel Group, recently announced that they are going to break ground on a new Homewood Suites by Hilton in Downtown Bellevue. The project is scheduled to begin construction in the winter of 2020/21.
West77 Partners selected The Hotel Group to manage the hotel project that is scheduled to open in 2022.
Homewood Suites by Hilton will feature 224 rooms. The design of the hotel will combine natural elements with a warm atmosphere. It will offer upscale, all-suite accommodations with separate living areas and sleeping areas, and fully-equipped kitchens with full size refrigerators. Amenities will include an indoor pool, fitness center, outdoor patio, gaming and entertainment room and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The property is located adjacent to West77 Partners’ other hotel project, Hilton Garden Inn. The HomeWood Suites project represents one of the final phases of development on Washington Square Superblock, according to the press release.
Homewood Suites Bellevue will be The Hotel Group’s seventh Hilton branded property in the Puget Sound.
The architect for the project is Johnson Braund Inc. They designed Marriott Bellevue on 110th Ave NE, amongst others in Seattle, and across North America.
