Bellevue has been preparing for the East Link light rail for several years. Commuters from all over are anticipating the completion of the East Link light rail in 2023.

In order to make the experience more enjoyable and to attract more riders, the AFD Sound Transit committee has decided to activate entertainment at the Bellevue Downtown Station. Live auditions were recently held to recruit top local entertainment talent.

Riders can look forward to a resident DJ every Friday, spinning top tunes. Magic shows will regularly take place, by local magician, Nate Jester. Additionally, throughout the month there will be jugglers, street comedians and fire breathers. The committee will look for new talent as the East Link Light Rail launches.

We look forward to 2023 to see what other surprises the East Link light rail has in store. To learn more or to give your opinion to the AFD committee, visit their website.
