Bar Moore is now open on Main Street in Old Bellevue. The space is next to Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty office.

It was announced in August 2022 that Bobby Moore would be taking over the space that was originally B-Bar, a café and cocktail lounge, owned by Joe Viladi. Bobby Moore Restaurants took the space over in mid-July, after Moore left his position as Executive Chef at Willows Lodge and Barking Frog after 20 years.

Bar Moore has an intimate lounge that features European style, culture, and cuisine. Specializing in fresh seafood, bubbles, and cocktails, the bar will feature light bites like oysters, crudo, tartare, and charcuterie.

According to Lisa Martin, who is teaming up with Moore for the new space, they wanted to create a place that people can come together to enjoy and feel welcome. It will be a destination spot to enjoy a drink before or after dinner, or for a fun date night of eating and drinking all night.

Hours of operation are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 10pm, and Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 11pm.

Bobby Moore is also taking ownership of Bis on Main, next door to Bar Moore. Joe Vilardi was the previous owner for 25 years, after opening the restaurant in 1998. Bis on Main features upscale American cuisine with European flavors.

“I am moving on, but the chicken will remain! Thanks to all the many many great staff and customers who have made Bis on Main one of Seattle’s best restaurants for nearly 25 years. We are truly blessed to have served so many wonderful people and that is what I will miss the most!” – Joe Vilardi

Moore plans to keep the staff and restaurant name the same. His goal is to build on what Vilardi has created, while adding a twist on some of the classic dishes.
