For decades, the International Ballet Theatre has put together a ballet of tradition, beauty, and festive cheer with its rendition of The Nutcracker. Featuring impressive costumes and detail-oriented sets, the IBT’s Nutcracker has evolved into an annual tradition for families.
Made up of traditional choreography, this rendition boasts not only the classical elements but also introduces an exotic dance ensemble, adding a new dimension. Prepare to be entertained with a battle scene featuring fearless soldiers and mischievous mice.
The show runs through December 23rd, with performances on Tuesdays through Saturdays. It was choreographed by Ballet Master, Vera Altunina. The music is by composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
