Juice and Smoothie Bar, Emerald City Smoothie, will be opening at Amazon’s Blue Shift building in downtown Bellevue. The address is 10550 Northeast 10th Street.
According to a representative for the smoothie shop, “the location on Bellevue Way will eventually close, but not for a little bit.”
The eatery offers smoothies and bowls made from fresh ingredients. A known “fan favorite” is “the Emerald”, which includes greens and fresh berries. Boosters are also available to add to smoothies, and supplements are sold for purchase within the store.
Emerald City Smoothie is currently located at the strip mall on Bellevue Way’s Park Row, next to Noir Lash Lounge. Opening in 2019, this is the only one of its kind in Bellevue. It had previously been located next to Mediterranean Kitchen before closing in 2013.
Bosa Development purchased the property that Emerald City Smoothie is currently located for $36 million in 2019 from Park Row LLC. According to plans submitted to the City of Bellevue, Bosa plans to construct a 22-story residential tower, containing 143 units, with over 8,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level.
Amazon’s Blue Shift building opened in 2022 on Northeast 10th Street. It had been reported at the time that about 2,000 employees would be working at this location, on teams like Alexa and Web Services.
