Voodoo Doughnut is planning to open its first Eastside location at 10713 Main Street in Downtown Bellevue. A representative for the company confirmed that the location has been selected, but no additional progress has been made beyond that point.
Permit applications for the project began in May 2025. Plans include remodeling a single-story building to accommodate the doughnut shop. Work will involve removing select existing features and adding furniture and kitchen equipment. Exterior work will include a new awning, building signage, and refreshing the building’s exterior finishes.
The Bellevue shop will be located at the former Rudy’s Barbershop, which closed in September 2024 following an eviction notice. Rudy’s had operated at that location since 2014 and previously ran a shop at the corner of Main Street and Bellevue Way Northeast.
Voodoo Doughnut was founded in 2003 in Portland, Oregon, and currently operates more than 20 locations. The company opened its first Seattle store in 2024.
The shop is known for its wide range of creative and unconventional doughnuts, offering over 40 flavors, including more than 10 vegan options. Popular items include the Bacon Maple Bar, Memphis Mafia, The Cannolo, Butterfingering, Marshall Mathers, Maple Blazer Blunt, and Dirt, a vanilla-frosted doughnut topped with chocolate cream-filled cookies. Custom doughnuts are also available by request.
