Nana’s Green Tea is now open. It is located at the apartment building, Venn on Main, just off of Main Street in Old Bellevue.
The modern Japanese cafe specializes in green teas, as well as Japanese foods and desserts. They incorporate traditional Japanese ingredients like matcha and warabimochi in new, innovative ways.
The drink menu features matcha lattes, Japanese teas, matcha latte frappes, hojicha lattes (roasted with green tea milk), red bean lattes (red bean paste with milk), and matcha. The cost ranges between $4-$8.
Parfait and soft serve are offered like matcha with chocolate cake, matcha vanilla swirl, black sesame mochi parfait, and hojicha mochi parfait. The food menu also includes salads, rice bowls with miso soup, and rice plates with miso soup. Pastries are available fresh daily, like matcha roll cake, matcha tiramisu, yuzu cheesecake, and hojicha muffin with walnuts.
Nana’s Green Tea is a global matcha brand that originated in Tokyo, Japan. This is the first location of their’s to open on the Eastside. They have one other cafe that is located in Seattle on Stewart Street.
The address is 16 103rd Avenue Northeast. The shop’s hours are 10am to 8pm, daily.
