The two-tower luxury condo, hotel and retail project, Avenue Bellevue, is opening soon, and with that, comes premium retailers. We have noted in the past that some of those retailers will include Salt & Straw, and Couture fashion designer, Gustavo Apiti. Among the retail space will also be glassybaby, Forte Chocolate, and Fleur Studio.
glassybaby, featuring the popular hand-blown glass candle holders, will be opening at Avenue Bellevue as it moves out of its current location in Old Bellevue on Main Street. Each glassybaby comes out of the oven with its own shape, size, and color. Each has its own name and story to match the very reason you’re purchasing it for your home or a friend. Each glassybaby that is purchased has a portion of the sales donated to non-profits that promote hope and healing.
Forte Chocolate was founded by internationally acclaimed Master chocolatier, Karen Neugebauer. With her award-winning chocolate, each bite is as beautiful as it is delicious. Neugebauer’s team crafts every piece of chocolate entirely by hand. This includes hand tempering, pouring, dipping, and packaging all of the chocolates. With dedication to quality, the chocolates exude a diverse variety of flavors with high-quality ingredients.
Fleur Studio will provide a luxury floral experience for guests and residents alike. Located at 846 103rd Avenue Northeast, Fleur creates one-of-a-kind flower arrangements for any occasion. As a sister to Fleur Studio in Kirkland, the company believes in uniqueness for each individual. The European-inspired floral shop also offers a chance for customers to create their own bouquets using their flower bar.
Located at the corner of Northeast 8th Street and Bellevue Way, the Avenue Bellevue experience will feature top places to dine, shop, and relax in luxury within the heart of Downtown Bellevue. The project includes 365 homes, an InterContinental Hotel, and 85,000 square feet of retail space.
“We are opening the doors to the region’s first InterContinental hotel in 2024 and introducing what surely will be the highest form of hospitality in the Pacific Northwest,” says 30-year international hospitality veteran and General Manager Haje Roger Thurau. “As a resident of the Bellevue region myself, I am delighted for guests to experience the extravagant amenities, personalized service, and world-class dining InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue will bring to this vibrant and spirited destination.”
InterContinental Bellevue at The Avenue is booking stays from January 20, 2024. Reservations start from $449 up to $7,200 per night.
