According to a press release from the online fashion and lifestyle retailer, SHEIN, they will be opening a Seattle-area office in Downtown Bellevue, expanding its U.S. footprint. The office space is located at Bellevue’s Key Center.

The nearly 10,000 square foot space will serve as a hub for SHEIN’s U.S. fulfillment and logistics, as the company continues to localize faster delivery times for American customers.

“The U.S. is an important market for SHEIN, and we are thrilled to establish a presence in the Seattle area as we continue enhancing our fulfillment process and improving the customer experience,” said Andy Huang, SHEIN’s head of U.S. fulfillment and logistics. “This expansion underscores our commitment to efficiency across our operations, and we look forward to contributing to the local community and fostering innovation in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.”

The retail company expects over 50 employees to work out of this location by the end of 2024. They are currently hiring for positions to support logistics and distribution efforts across the United States.

SHEIN currently has over 1,500 corporate and warehouse employees across the country in cities such as San Diego, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Whitestown, Indiana.

TikTok is also leasing office space at Key Center tower. In October 2023, Broderick Group published its Q3 report, documenting that the company is doubling down on its presence at this location. They secured an additional 66,000 square feet of office space through 2025, in addition to the already leased space of 44,000 square feet in the Key Center tower.
