Bellevue Police Department Detectives, alongside Bellevue SWAT officers, have apprehended two individuals in connection with a series of organized retail thefts at the Bellevue Square Nordstrom store on January 10th and 11th, 2024. Additionally, three other suspects involved have been identified and are anticipated to face charges.

On January 25th, 22-year-old Benito Uriostegui was taken into custody by Bellevue Police Detectives. Uriostegui faces charges of first-degree and second-degree Organized Retail Theft, with bail set at $300,000. He remains detained at the King County Jail.

In a separate operation this past Wednesday, 22-year-old Jesus Delgado was apprehended at his residence in Kent and subsequently booked into the King County Jail. Delgado has been formally charged with first-degree and second-degree Organized Retail Theft, along with bail jumping related to a previous case. His bail was set at $200,000, with an additional $100,000 for an unrelated felony warrant. Delgado is currently being held at the King County Jail.

Three more suspects were recently arrested by Detectives. Their identities have not been made public as formal charges have not been made.

The ongoing investigation began after Nordstrom Corporate Investigator notified authorities about the thefts. It was determined that the suspects collaborated in executing three organized thefts within a span of two days, resulting in losses exceeding $17,000 in designer merchandise.

Surveillance footage and other investigative techniques were used by detectives, which helped to identify five of the six suspects involved.
