Upgrade Labs Brings Biohacking to Bellevue

Upgrade Labs Bellevue

Upgrade Labs, founded by Dave Asprey, the “Father of Biohacking,” opened in Bellevue in December 2024. Located at 909 112th Ave NE in the Elements Apartments, the facility offers advanced technology to improve health, performance, and recovery.

Asprey, also known for creating Bulletproof Coffee, designed Upgrade Labs to make high-tech health solutions more affordable and accessible. The center focuses on six key areas: living longer, building muscle, reducing stress, improving heart health, losing weight, and boosting brain power.

Services include a cryotherapy chamber to reduce inflammation and boost metabolism, the REDcharger therapy bed for red and infrared light therapy, and the “AI Cheat Machine,” which helps build muscle faster. The “Big Squeeze” lymphatic massage helps improve circulation and reduce water retention. Other options include PEMF therapy, resistance training, and a cell health checkup, with treatments personalized to each person’s goals.

Memberships start at $299 per month, with options for more sessions or additional benefits, like buddy passes and discounts. Single sessions and day passes are also available.

Asprey says the idea came from using this type of technology himself and seeing the benefits. According to comments shared with Athlete Tech News, he emphasizes the benefits of using specialized technologies traditionally reserved for elite athletes and neuroscience clinics.

Upgrade Labs is locally owned, with additional locations across the United States and British Columbia. The Bellevue facility is the first to open in Washington.
