As of Wednesday, June 4, acclaimed sushi restaurant Takai by Kashiba has launched a new Executive Bento Box lunch takeaway service in downtown Bellevue. The restaurant is located at the base of the One88 luxury condominium tower at 180 Bellevue Way Northeast and will now offer a limited number of high-end sashimi boxes for weekday pickup.

Created by Chef Jun Takai, a 2025 James Beard Award nominee for Best Chef in the Pacific Northwest, the Executive Bento Box includes premium sashimi served over Takai’s signature seasoned sushi rice, along with a generous portion of negitoro—shredded fatty bluefin tuna belly.

The bento boxes are available for a limited-time launch price of $45, with only 20 boxes prepared daily. Lunch pickup is offered Wednesday through Friday, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and all orders must be pre-ordered and confirmed through TOCK.

Same-day orders will be accepted until 12:00 p.m., or until the daily limit is reached.

For group orders exceeding the 20-box maximum, Takai by Kashiba encourages customers to call 425-502-7259 or email info@takaibykashiba.com to coordinate directly with the team.

Named Destinations Business of the Year 2025 by the City of Bellevue, Takai by Kashiba continues to expand its offerings. With the new takeaway service, the restaurant brings its refined sushi experience beyond the dining room, offering a convenient option for weekday lunch in downtown Bellevue.
