CNN Money has ranked Bellevue the 4th best city to live in their 100 Best Places to Live in America 2010 edition. The description includes ‘pluses’ and ‘minuses’ for each city. Bellevue’s ‘pluses’ include natural beauty, excellent schools, and diversity. The ‘minuses’ include pricey real estate and rain.
The description of the city also goes on to describe all the major employers and points out an interesting fact that there are more jobs in Bellevue than there are residents. Also interesting to note from the article is how diverse Bellevue is, with nearly a quarter of residents Asian and nearly a third foreign-born. Strong education and arts programs round out the qualities highlighted in the concise article ranking Bellevue.
This comes only a couple years after Bellevue was voted by Fortune as the Best place to Live and Launch a Business.
