Tuscan Stone Wood Fired PIzza Bellevue

Tuscan Stone Wood Fired Pizza’ has located its mobile pizza trailer in the old KFC lot that is located at Bellevue Way NE & Main Street. The trailer serves fresh handmade pizzas right on the spot from the wood-fired oven. The owners made the trailer and oven from scratch, and they anticipate creating a 2nd trailer within the coming months. Trailers are the latest entrepreneurial trend and for good reason; they’re very profitable ventures. There are complications though, especially when it comes to their road presence, so learn more about the legal side of things before taking that leap.

The trailer serves pizza at the new location Monday through Saturday 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM. Customers can walk up and make an order, or when it’s raining, you can even order from your parked car! A personal pizza is $6.95, and a large pizza is $14.95. There are several different pizzas available to choose from, including the Margherita, Chicken Pesto, Smoked Pepperoni, Italian Sausage & Bacon, and more. Customers may also build their own pizza.

The company previously parked the trailer in Kent before bringing it to Bellevue. The owners currently have a month-to-month lease in the old KFC parking lot.

  1. I’d actually prefer the KFC. In downtown bellevue, if I blindfold myself and throw a rock it will hit 3 pizza places before ever touching the ground… Well it least it isn’t frozen yogurt.

  2. …or kaiten sushi!

  3. What are the other pizza places in DT Bellevue? I can only think of Pagliacci, Topolino and MOD Pizza.

  4. @Joe
CPK, the “other” Pagliacci (depending on whether you were counting the one on Main St or in the mall), Dominos, Zeeks.

  5. Also Papa John’s, and Garlic Jim’s.

  6. Nobody should be counting Papa John’s and Domino’s. 🙂

  7. If you doubt Bellevue needs another pizza place you may be right. However, once you try the pizza at Tuscan Stone Pizza you’ll be glad they’re here. Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. I hope they’re here for a long time to come. The other pizza spots could serve something else, my vote is for Tuscan stone.

  8. don’t forgot California Pizza Kitchen

any chance we could get a taco truck?

  9. glad to see something useful going on that corner.

  10. Another way to make a bad looking corner even worse!

    @Stu: kind of funny
MOD is undeniably a GREAT deal. Good pizza.

This pizza spot looks a little cheap w/ its signage. I haven’t eaten it, but really?

    Whole Foods: great pizza.

  12. @Picket : second that. Whole Foods pizza is my favorite around here. Their Margherita is awesome.

In fact, I like pizza where they use fresh mozzarella slices instead of the shredded dried variety. Whole Foods does, and so does this pizza cart. I liked the pizza from the cart – but it was not significantly better than MOD. If they start doing home delivery, they have my business!

  13. It is so refreshing to see real Gourmet Passion THE CRUST IS TO DIE FOR!

    thanx for the great experience
your on my budget for once a week

  15. I was very concerned, Pizza Trailer??
    quality?? service??

Another experience where I should be slow to judge. THE BEST Crust and flavor
thnx for NOT slipping in low end ingredients.

I will recommend you to all my associates and family.

Wish you all the best, Pat

  16. I am shocked by some of the comments in this blog
Some comments are either a restaurant who is worried or a Silver Spoon who has never dared to try something where they put it all on the line

    Great Job Tuscan Pizza
Delicious and refreshing, not to say a fun experience. My children loved watching the process.

  17. i agree with Sam. Instead of sitting around collecting unemployment this group has acted on a great idea. They are providing jobs and great pizza, not to speak of the fact they have cleaned up the lot!
Don’t be fooled, try the pizza, it’s great!

  18. Great idea though poor crust. It’s like a flat bread, similar to what Mod Pizza has.
