Legion Bellevue

Legion, the new upscale sports bar opened by local restauranteur Leilani Wong, and Seahawks legends Kam Chancellor, and Richard Sherman, is now open. The soft opening began on October 3rd. It is located at 700 Bellevue Way Northeast, where Pearl Seafood and Oyster Bar previously operated.

Chancellor and Sherman first applied for a liquor license that was submitted July 7, 2023. Leilani Wong and Adam Willden were also included on the application.

The bar features gourmet bites with southern flavors, craft cocktails, beer, and wine. The square footage of the space is 7,620 and includes a lounge, dining room, and private dinner space.

Elevate was given the role of Art Curator for Legion. The restaurant will feature art from 22 different local artists throughout the space and the rotating gallery.

The interior of the upscale sports bar was designed by Kirkland-based Sue Genty Interior Design. The company has designed the interior space of other restaurants in Downtown Bellevue like Farzi Cafe and Adrian’s Restaurant & Tequila Bar.

The grand opening date for Legion is October 13th. Until then, a limited number of reservations can be made on OpenTable.

Pearl Seafood and Oyster Bar was previously open at this restaurant space. It closed during the pandemic after first opening in November 2008. The seafood restaurant never reopened after being forced to shutter its doors. Before Pearl, this location was Trader Vic’s.

  1. This title is misleading. It’s not owned by the Seahawks. It should indicate it’s owned by former seahawks players.

  2. The very first paragraph spells Kam Chancellor’s name as Kim Chancellor. Can you edit/update it?

  3. Do the Seahawks actually own this establishment? From the Title it sure sounds like it. Very Poorly written article.

  4. Clearly says former Seahawks players and does t even mentioned being owned by Seahawks.

  5. Obviously people can’t read , no where does it say it’s owned by the Seahawks . I thought it was informative

  6. My name is Carolyn I celebrated my Daughter’s Birthday at your place I just want to say this your Nola bowl is all wrong you can’t serve mushy red beans topped wit a cornbread muffin stuffed on top with fried collard greens crumbled on top yu need to loosen up those beans with a little more juice add a sm bowl of rice with sauted spinach or collard greens with onions maybe just always make the rice available and a sm house salad and that’s my opinion chefs should always welcome constructive criticism.
