According to City of Bellevue records, a new restaurant will be opening in Downtown Bellevue at Bellevue Towers. Rascals Public House is an American-style pub planned to open in what was formerly the Cast Iron Studio space. It will be located at the base of Bellevue Towers in the South Tower. The address is 10650 Northeast 4th Street.

The space is over 4,400 square feet and will include a demo of the current interior. With that, the restaurant will feature a new bar, built-in banquet seating, new interior doors, kitchen and bar equipment, as well as moveable interior seating and tables.

The project team for the restaurant includes owners Stewart Harmon and Carrie Anderson, Ferguson Architecture, and 3HJ Contracting.

Rascals Public House is slated to open mid-2024/ We reached out to the project manager at the architecture firm.

Also opening at the retail space located on the first floor of Bellevue Towers will be Walgreens and Sea Crab House. Walgreens will occupy over 6,400 square feet of space with improvements to the interior and exterior of the building. Sea Crab House is a Pacific Northwest seafood restaurant with southeast-Asian-influenced flavors.

Heavy Restaurant Group announced in August 2020 that it would be permanently closing Purple Bellevue, Lot No. 3, and Cast Iron Studios. According to CEO Larry Kurofsky, “While all three restaurants were performing well through February, 2020, the public health crisis surrounding Covid-19 has forced us to reconsider the mid-long term viability of our Bellevue restaurants.”

The three restaurants in total occupied 14,500 square feet of space. Pot Belly Sandwich Shop continues to occupy the fourth location at Bellevue Towers.
