According to City of Bellevue permits, a new Middle Eastern restaurant is opening in downtown Bellevue. It is located at 989 112th Avenue Northeast in the 989 Elements Apartments building.

A representative at the Tanoor Sammamish location confirmed the new Downtown Bellevue location. According this source, the restaurant is slated to open in about three months.

Offering Lebanese mezze, grills, salads, and desserts, Tanoor Lebanese Grill is opening in what was previously the Lunchbox Laboratory space. The authentic cuisine is made from high-quality ingredients, and features made from scratch items, while being celiac-friendly.

Tanoor is a family-owned and operated restaurant that was created by a couple raising their four children in Sammamish. After their guests repeatedly asked them to open a Lebanese restaurant, they decided to take a leap of faith.

According to the website, the menu and space are designed to bring the flavors, smells, and atmosphere of Lebanon.

Tanoor has two other locations open in Seattle on Dexter Avenue and Sammamish. This is the third of its kind to open.

Lunchbox Laboratory quietly closed its doors at the end of December 2023. The restaurant first opened within Element Apartments in 2012. It was the second branch to open, following the South Lake Union location.
