The Brizo project, a new residential development, has recently received Design Review approval from the City of Bellevue. Located at 1051 108th Avenue Northeast, the project will consist of an 8-story residential tower with 220 units and 174 parking spaces. The site covers approximately 39,897 square feet (about 0.92 acres) and is surrounded by multi-family buildings.

The amenity plan submitted to the City of Bellevue includes bike parking, a dog/bike wash area, a fitness center, a package and mailroom, an entry plaza, a lobby, a club room, and a rooftop deck.

One of the project’s key features is its focus on improving walkability. Brizo will extend an existing “Through Block Connection,” a pedestrian pathway that will link NE 12th Street to the south property line and connect with other nearby walkways. This new pathway will offer easier access to nearby buildings like the Belcarra and Ashton towers. To make the walkways more engaging, public art sculptures will be placed at key points where the path changes direction.

The design of the Brizo tower is sleek and modern. The building will have a two-story podium with large glass walls on the 108th Avenue NE side, creating an open, inviting look. Above this, a dark-colored penthouse will add a contrast to the structure, defining the top of the tower. The podium will also feature a green wall along the garage entrances, and glass railings on the upper floors will help reduce its mass. The overall design will include textured glass with custom patterns that reflect light.

The location, which is known for its skinny shape, is 0.92 acres. Currently, it is home to a three-story apartment building, which will be demolished to make way for the new tower.

According to public records, Alco Investment Company bought the site in 2020 for $12.8 million, while SRM Development later acquired it for $14 million in 2023.
