Great State Burger and King Leroy have closed at Lincoln South Food Hall in Downtown Bellevue. The two restaurants shared one space inside the food hall, on the second floor of Lincoln Square South at 500 Bellevue Way NE.
Mean Sandwich, a sandwich shop from Seattle, plans to open in the space, according to a sign posted outside.
Great State Burger and King Leroy opened together at the food hall in August 2024. Because the restaurants were connected, guests could order from either menu. The Lincoln South location was Great State Burger’s second in Bellevue. It joined the chain’s Bellevue Square restaurant, which operated for nine years before closing in 2025. Great State Burger served burgers, crinkle-cut fries and breaded onion rings, with a focus on organic, sustainable and locally sourced ingredients.
King Leroy is a Northwest-style bar known for cold beer, craft cocktails, sandwiches and wings. The Bellevue location was its second, after the original on Seventh Avenue in Seattle. The bar was 21 and over and served breakfast all day.
The space is next to Dote Coffee Bar, which has been open since Lincoln South Food Hall first opened in 2018.
OAKBERRY, the food hall’s newest tenant, opened in July 2026. The global acai brand has more than 900 stores in over 40 countries, and the Bellevue shop is its first in Washington state. The menu centers on acai bowls and smoothies, and the bowls come with unlimited toppings.
Lincoln South Food Hall closed in March 2022 for a refresh, and ownership passed from Ascend Hospitality Group to Kemper Development Company. It reopened in June 2023 with a new lineup that included Drip Tea, Seoul Bowl, West Coast Tacos, Wonderbowl and Burbs Burgers. Burbs Burgers was in the space before Great State Burger and King Leroy moved in.
