Downtown Bellevue’s Red Lion Hotel is for sale, according to the PSBJ.
Red Lion Hotels Corp. recently announced the closure of the two-story hotel, which opened on Main Street in 1969. The hotel features 181 guestrooms and 5,700 square feet of meeting space.
The Red Lion Hotel sprawls across a 6-acre site that could potentially be redeveloped as high-density housing.
The property “is among the most desirable redevelopment sites on the West coast,” according to a Red Lion Hotels Corp. press statement.
A light-rail station is planned for the property across the street from the hotel.
