The City of Bellevue is asking for community feedback as they update the Comprehensive Plan. The Plan is a tool that helps to guide growth and development in Bellevue for the next 20 years.

According to a release, the Comprehensive Plan ensures that people who live, work, and play in Bellevue have access to housing that meets their needs, the ability to get around using multiple transportation options, have access to jobs and economic opportunity, and can enjoy many different parks and recreational activities.

This is the city’s primary tool for addressing growth and maintaining a high quality of life. The first section includes a Vision Statement that describes the future that the city is working toward. It also describes where we are going and what is important.

The city wants to hear from you and is encouraging people to join in their upcoming virtual community conversation.

The community conversation is taking place on Tuesday, March 22nd, from 6pm to 8pm. During the interactive workshop, there will be the opportunity to learn about some of the trends shaping the city’s future. There will also be a chance to discuss your vision for the future of Bellevue.
