According to management at InterContinental Bellevue at The Avenue, the opening date for the hotel has been postponed. The most recent opening date had been set for June 15th, but it is now planned to open on July 18, 2024.
“In order to deliver the best possible experience to our esteemed guests,” explained the marketing manager for the hotel, “the opening date for the InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue has moved to July 18, 2024.” The restaurants within our hotel, CE LA VI Bellevue and Fresco, are set to open alongside InterContinental Bellevue.”
Ce La Vi Bellevue, set to debut alongside the hotel, is a Parisian bistro situated in the lobby bar and lounge area. It will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. Fresco, also opening simultaneously with the hotel, will feature contemporary Pacific Northwest cuisine on the second floor. Offering contemporary breakfast and brunch options, its menu combines international flavors with the distinct tastes of the Pacific Northwest.
The initial opening date for InterContinental Hotel was scheduled for October 2023. However, this was later rescheduled to January 2024. Subsequently, in January 2024, it was announced that the opening would be further delayed to April 15, 2024. Yet again, this date was postponed to June 15th and is now slated for July 18, 2024.
This marks the luxury hotel’s first domestic opening since 2017, also standing as the premier InterContinental Hotel to debut in the Pacific Northwest.
Once finished, the hotel will include 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, spanning across 9 rooms. Additionally, it will showcase a grand 4,250 square-foot ballroom and a 2,400 square-foot junior ballroom.
The guest rooms and suites feature expansive windows, bespoke headboards, and Italian vegan leather furnishings. The property offers Michelin-star dining and an elevated Clefs d’Or concierge program. Amenities encompass a dedicated butler-serviced floor, round-the-clock room service, a personalized Rolls-Royce house car, and access to an ultra-luxury yacht.
Situated at the intersection of Northeast 8th Street and Bellevue Way, Intercontinental Bellevue at The Avenue will offer 208 rooms. Prices range from $449 per night to $7,200 per night.
Avenue Bellevue comprises two towers, made up of over 365 luxury condominiums. With a project cost exceeding $1 billion, it showcases more than 85,000 square feet of upscale retail and dining spaces.
