HEYTEA, a popular bubble tea chain known for its use of real ingredients, is set to open its first cafe in Washington state, specifically at The Shops at The Bravern in Bellevue. This move comes as indicated by signage and city permits.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Shenzhen, HEYTEA gained acknowledgment for pioneering Cheese tea, a blend of authentic tea with real dairy cheese. Emphasizing high-quality ingredients, the company has expanded its offerings over the years to include a variety of fruit teas and Lite products.
Between 2017 and 2019, HEYTEA expanded its menu with fruit-infused teas integrated with cheese, culminating in popular choices like Cheese Grape Boom, Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea, and Coconut Mango Boom. Their commitment to quality is shown in their rapid global expansion, with approximately 3,400 stores now open worldwide across more than 300 cities since March 2024.
HEYTEA’s mission statement highlights their dedication to enhancing industry standards across product quality, design, and customer service. They aim to enrich the public’s lifestyle with affordable luxury, focusing on a “genuine quality without high prices” philosophy.
The soon-to-open HEYTEA location at The Shops at The Bravern marks the chain’s first cafe in Washington and the Pacific Northwest region. Prior US locations include Broadway and Flushing in New York.
The new HEYTEA cafe will occupy the space formerly housing Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, the first Eastside location of its brand. It first opened at The Bravern in September 2019.
