Baba’s Kabab Shop is set to open in Downtown Bellevue at 505 106th Avenue Northeast, according to City of Bellevue records. The new fast-casual restaurant will specialize in modern Pakistani kebabs and skewer dishes.
The restaurant will be located within Bellevue Park Plaza, across from Bellevue Connection and Bellevue Towers. Shan Janjua, the owner of Baba’s Kabab Shop, also owns Naan-N-Curry, a family-run restaurant in Issaquah that focuses on authentic Pakistani cuisine.
According to Janjua there is not a planned opening date at this time.
The area has seen several new dining establishments open recently, particularly at Bellevue Towers retail on the first level and Bellevue Connection.
Itadaki Yakiniku, a Japanese steakhouse, has opened at Bellevue Connection. The restaurant combines traditional Japanese barbecue techniques with French influences, offering a fine dining experience. The menu features a selection of Japanese-flavored dishes and premium beef cuts, including A5 Wagyu, American Wagyu, and locally sourced Angus beef.
Itadaki Yakiniku provides an eight-course set menu with a vegan option. The location was previously home to COCO Asian Cuisine Izakaya-Sushi Bar and, before that, Tap House Grill.
SuperKim Crab House has opened at the base of Bellevue Towers (north tower). The restaurant is known for its seafood dishes infused with Thai-inspired flavors. Menu highlights include Dungeness crab rolls, steamed clams, clam chowder, Gumbolaya, creamy Cajun wings, a customizable Asian-Cajun fusion seafood boil, and dishes like Lobster Mama and Mekong Medley.
Additionally, Rascals Public House has also opened at the base of Bellevue Towers (south tower), occupying the 4,400-square-foot space previously held by Cast Iron Studios. The casual dining establishment serves American-style pub food, with menu offerings that include country-fried steak bites, a double blue wedge salad, a fried bologna sandwich, a Korean burger, pork chops, mashed potatoes with gravy, and cheesecake.
Baba’s Kabab Shop will add to the growing selection of dining options in Downtown Bellevue, continuing the area’s expansion as a dining destination.
