Seattle development company Schnitzer West may be planning to construct an office building on property owned by Bank of America in downtown Bellevue, according to a report in the Daily Journal of Commerce.
The DJC reported that Schnitzer West recently approached the city of Bellevue to inquire about constructing an office tower at 415 106th Ave. NE. Further details were not immediately available.
The .88-acre property is located across from Bellevue Towers, on the superblock where Kemper Development Co. intends to expand Lincoln Square.
Plans for the Lincoln Square expansion include 545,000 feet of office space, as well as a hotel, a residential tower, retail space, and an underground garage.
Hope this turns out better for them than the Bravern did.
I was married to a Schnitzler, frank. so im suprised to see this name,,its not so common.
The parcel does not appear large enough for an office tower, they would need to aquire more land. As far as I know, the adjacent land owner will not sell the parking lot.
@ Brian, it’s plenty big enough for an office tower. This parcel may seem small compared to more spacious sites in Bellevue but it’s probably the average size of most office projects in Seattle. Here’s some conceptual renderings done for the previous owner of the site.
