W Bellevue Hotel is planned for their opening on June 15, 2017 according to a news release. The hotel is filling over 125 positions for the opening of the new hotel. To look for candidates, the hotel will open a “Talent Casting Center” that will open on Saturday, April 1 (no joke). The casting center will be located next to Blue Nile at Bellevue Square.

The open positions range from welcome desk agents to housekeeping and bar and restaurant servers. A role that elevates the customer experience at W Hotels is “W Insider,” which is one of the many roles available. All jobs can be found at www.whotels.jobs/bellevue.

“W Bellevue is what’s new and next for the Eastside,” said W Bellevue General Manager Matt Van Der Peet. “We’re passionate about creating an enthusiastic team; one that carefully crafts a unique experience for each and every guest.”

Playing on Bellevue’s heritage, W Bellevue will reinterpret the idea of a classic Pacific Northwest lake house in a new age modern style.

W Bellevue is planned to host 220 rooms, 25 suites, 10,000 square feet of meeting space and three beverage and food outlets. Jason Wilson, a local Seattle Chef will be the chef for two of the restaurants.

Reservations are currently being accepted for stays on or after August 1, 2017. Rates for weekends tend to start just over $200/night, and rates for weekdays appear to be closer to $400/night.
