Hästens, the Swedish family-owned company known for its high-end mattresses, bedding, and pillows, is set to open its first location in Washington State. The store will be located in Downtown Bellevue at 188 Bellevue Way NE, Suite #5, in the retail space at One88 condominiums. The opening is scheduled for July 2025.

Founded in 1852, Hästens has built a reputation for the use of natural materials. The company’s handmade mattresses are filled with horsetail hair, flax, wool, and cotton, providing comfort, support, and ventilation. Their pillows are made from a blend of feathers and down, encased in cotton, while their bedding includes a range of bed linens and accessories.

This Bellevue store will be Hästens’ 19th location nationwide, with other stores located in Florida, California, Texas, Washington D.C., Boston, and New York.

The new store will join other retail offerings at One88, including Sevid Beauty, Takai by Kashiba, HSBC, and Semicolon Cafe. One88, a luxury residential tower developed by internationally recognized Bosa Development, features 21 stories of one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences and penthouses.

The building boasts high-end amenities such as a concierge service, a fully equipped fitness facility with a yoga and exercise studio, an indoor pool, and multiple landscaped terraces with city and park views. Residents also enjoy access to communal grilling areas, a private dining room, a lounge, and a children’s playroom.
