The European-inspired AC Hotel by Marriott, located in the heart of downtown Bellevue, officially opened its doors to guests on August 3rd. Modern and unique in its design, the AC Hotel, managed by Sage Hospitality, is part of a new breed of lifestyle hotels targeting creative and entrepreneurial-minded travelers.
Within this seven-story property, there are 234 signature guest rooms, an around-the-clock fitness center, European-style breakfast, signature AC lounge and bar for guests and local companies, and 1,487 square feet of meeting space; including media salons and private dining.
A signature component of the downtown Bellevue hotel is its innovative beverage and food program. Offered within the AC lounge are local food and craft beers, specialty wines, a selection of tapas-style small bites and signature cocktails; like the “PNW Dark ’N Stormy”, featuring a local spiced rum and Bedford’s ginger beer. There are also two drink specials called the “Signature Gintonic” and the “ACGT”.
The AC kitchen serves a European-inspired continental breakfast selection of flaky croissants, savory egg tarts, Nespresso coffee, and more.
Guest rooms incorporate monochromatic schemes, with clean lines and hardwood floors, as well as furniture that is lifted from the ground and crisp white linens, to create a space that is refined and elegant.
The AC lobby features the brand’s signature open-concept, with modern designs and textures that feel like a well-curated art gallery. Included in this space is a 15-foot living wall of Philodendron Brazil, Neon Pothos and Schefflera Arboricola plants. The furnishings and botanicals are intended to reflect the uniqueness and character of its urban Bellevue location.
The hotel also includes a library featuring a rotating selection of specially selected titles by guest curators, complimentary Wi-Fi for guests and locals to work and a variety of spaces that vary in size to book for private use, equipped with the latest audio-visual technology. Additional amenities include fitness centers, on-site parking, kallpods and more.
AC Hotel by Marriott is located on the corner of NE 2nd Street and 106th Avenue NE. This is the brand’s first location in the Seattle area, making it AC Hotel by Marriott’s 21st property in North America.
