New plans and renderings have emerged for the new apartment building that is planned for Bellevue Way Southeast, 12 Bellevue Way, according to City of Bellevue’s Weekly Bulletin for 7-21-22. The project is currently waiting for design review approval.
Located at 12 Bellevue Way Southeast, the proposed project is a seven story mixed-use multi-family residential and commercial project. It will include 376 residential units comprised of middle-income and low-income housing, office space, and proposed retail space.
The residential space is planned to feature studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments, inclusive of a rooftop deck and club room. It will be developed as a multifamily residential building that steps up the hillside, with 2 levels of below-grade parking.
SRM Development has been planning the project and is the owner of the property. Runberg Architecture Group is the architect.
Construction is expected to begin in September 2023, with an assumed duration of 36 months. All existing buildings are planned to be demolished.
We last wrote about the development in November 2020. The previous article noted that SRM purchased the Bellevue Animal Hospital site in July 2020 for $3.25M and also purchased the old Jack in the Box site, which is now Racha Go, in May 2019 for $6.6M.
