Snowflake has officially opened its new office in Bellevue’s Spring District, marking a major move for the cloud-based data company. The company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, to celebrate the opening of its new 326,000-square-foot space in the Block 6 building, which it is subleasing from Meta.

The move comes as Snowflake outgrew its previous office at the 929 Office Tower in downtown Bellevue. The company relocated more than 700 employees to the new Spring District location about a month prior to the official opening.

While Snowflake is subleasing the entire Block 6 building, only five of the building’s 11 floors have been completed. Construction is ongoing, with work currently underway on the sixth floor and plans to finish the remaining floors. The office features a Pacific Northwest-inspired design, described by the company as a “sea-to-summit” aesthetic.

Snowflake, based in Bozeman, Montana, is known for its cloud platform that allows businesses to store, manage, and analyze data without the need for physical servers or complex infrastructure. Often referred to as the “Data Cloud,” the platform combines data storage, analytics, and sharing into one service, making it easier for organizations to work with large volumes of information.

The Block 6 building was previously part of Meta’s planned expansion in the Spring District. Meta now occupies around half of its total 1.8 million square feet of space in the neighborhood, with the remainder, including Block 6, available for sublease.
