The anticipation is over. Din Tai Fung is now open at Lincoln Square in Downtown Bellevue.
The award-winning dumpling family style restaurants is located on Lincoln Square’s 2nd floor near the sky bridge that connects Lincoln Square to Bellevue Place.
Although the chain has a large international appeal, the Bellevue location marks only the second US location, with the only other in the Los Angeles. The restaurant fills a 7,000 square feet space and seats 220 customers.
The restaurant opened Sunday and had wait times that were estimated at almost 2 hours when they opened, eventually calming down to accommodate walk-ins by the late afternoon.
