A new weekly event will be taking place at Whiskey by John Howie. Beginning Sunday, May 16th, the whiskey bar will feature a “Sunday Funday”.

Sunday Funday will highlight a new featured whiskey each week paired with a specially designed food item. Most of Whiskey’s 400+ bottle collection will feature whiskey pours at a 25 percent discount.

This Sunday’s featured whiskey is a Michter’s 10 year bourbon, available for $10 for one ounce (normally $25 an ounce). The specially designed food items will be two maple glazed pork belly sliders with bourbon scented caramelized onions and sweet potato fries for $10.

Whiskey by John Howie opened this past February at The Shops at The Bravern, adjacent to John Howie Steak. The menu features light bar bites with new and favorite tasted crafted by John Howie and Executive Chef Jed Laprade. The establishment also features global selections of rare and well done whiskeys. Hundreds of bottles were assembled by WHiskey’s in-house curator, Tim Lodahl.

Whiskey is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 9:30pm, and Sundays from 4pm to 9pm. A happy hour is featured both nights between 4pm and 6pm.
