Jocovine: Old Bellevue’s Newest Restaurant to Feat. International Cuisine, Event Space

Realogics Sotheby's

Located in Old Bellevue on Main Street, just a stone’s throw from his restaurant Adrian’s, owner Adrian Lopez is preparing to open his latest culinary venture, Jocovine. In an exclusive interview, Lopez shared insights into the concept, ambiance, and specialties awaiting restaruant-goers.

Drawing from his diverse background in the restaurant industry, Lopez envisions Jocovine as a refreshing departure from the Mexican cuisine of Adrian’s. Describing it as a bistro with a twist, he promises a culinary journey encompassing a variety of flavors, from hearty pastas to delectable sandwiches and salads. Jocovine will fill a gap in Bellevue’s dining scene by offering breakfast daily.

However, it’s not just about the food at Jocovine. Lopez strives to redefine Bellevue’s wine culture with an ambitious wine concept. Customers can expect personalized wine lockers, where enthusiasts can store their favorite bottles, complete with engraved nameplates. Additionally, the restaurant plans to host wine dinners.

With a seating capacity for 100 guests, Jocovine will cater to diverse needs, boasting private rooms for intimate gatherings and larger events. Live music, comedy nights, and even salsa evenings will grace the venue, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Scheduled for an opening date in early July, Jocovine is currently undergoing construction to transform its space into a modern, elegant environment. Lopez reveals plans to enhance the space with elements of sophistication, including the transportation of lush trees from Mexico to decorate the interior.

Jocovine will be open seven days a week, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. Lopez teases a menu complete with specialties from classic breakfast fare like crepes and eggs Benedict to an array of sandwiches and more formal dinner options.

As Lopez reflects on his journey from Carmine’s to Adrian’s and now to Jocovine, it’s evident that each experience has contributed to his vision of the restaurant.

Adrian’s Restaurant & Tequila Bar, Lopez’s first restaurant, made its debut in October 2022. This upscale Mexican eatery offers an array of dinner selections, including shrimp ceviche, cactus salad, Wagyu tacos, and pan-seared duck breast. The lunch menu mirrors these options, with additional add-ons available, though dessert is not offered during lunch service.

Situated within the Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty office on Main Street, this space has undergone several transformations. Formerly known as Bar Moore, and prior to that as B-Bar, it was once owned by Bobby Moore, offering a selection of light bites and craft cocktails. Following its recent closure at the end of January 2024, the team shifted focus to its adjacent sister restaurant, Bis on Main.
