New Six-Story Medical Building to be Built on 116th Ave SE

A proposal has been submitted to the City of Bellevue for a six-story medical office building known as the Pacific Medical Building (PMB), located at 50 and 100 116th Ave SE in the Wilburton neighborhood.

The building would total 377,442 gross square feet and sit above five levels of parking with 480 stalls. Ground-level amenities would include a plaza, courtyard, and outdoor landscaping. The project is currently pending Design Review approval.

If approved, demolition of two existing office buildings on the site would be required — one constructed in 1969 at 100 116th Ave SE and another built in 1985 at 50 116th Ave SE — along with their adjacent parking lots. The new building would be taller than the current structures on the site, which consists of two adjacent parcels.

Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2027, with an anticipated completion date of October 2029. The facility is not intended to provide emergency or inpatient services. Architecture firm Perkins & Will is the project architect. The building is designed to be compatible with the surrounding urban context.
