Bosa Development Purchases 3.3 Acre Site in Downtown Bellevue for $127.5M

Bosa Development recently purchased the 3.3 acre site for $127.5M in downtown Bellevue. The property includes Garlic Crush, Cafe Bollywood, Starbucks, and FedEx.

According to King County records, internationally recognized developer, Bosa Development, purchased a 3.3. acre site in downtown Bellevue. The sale was for $127.5 million, and includes 44 and 102 Bellevue Way Northeast.

Current businesses located on this property include Garlic Crush, Cafe Bollywood, Starbucks, and FedEx. It was the former site of Orange Theory, which opened in 2017, and closed during the pandemic, and Sports Authority, which closed in 2016. Since then, one of the larger buildings that was 10,000 square feet, had been used for an interactive Hello Kitty exhibit in 2019 and then sat empty.

It was reported in August 2021 that Bosa’s luxury high-rise condo building, One88, had sold out. It features 21-stories that are made up of one, two, and three-bedroom residences and penthouse residences. There are 147 residential units total. Some of their retail space includes Sevid Beauty, Semicolon Cafe, and HSBC.

Bosa reported over the summer, that they sold their property that was the former site of Sushi Maru in Bellevue for $14.6 million. Plans had originally been submitted for 205 105th Avenue Northeast, to build a residential tower with 21- stories and 77 residential units. They had originally purchased the lot for $11 million, across the street from their condo project, One88.

The real estate developer also sold their property at 10635 Northeast 8th Street to Schnitzer West in 2019. They had originally purchased it for $35 million in 2016. It was sold to Schnitzer West for $65 million, three years later.

Plans for the 3.3 acre site have not yet been submitted by Bosa Development to the City of Bellevue.
